Alexa Shatley

Administrative Assistant

As the administrative assistant for Jefferson Insurance Group, Alexa Shatley loves being able to help members of her community meet their insurance needs.

Helping is in her nature: After graduating from Wilkes Community College with an associate’s degree in accounting, Alexa worked as an administrative assistant with Samaritan’s Purse, a Christian humanitarian aid organization in Boone, N.C. In that role, she supported a medical team stationed in Iraq as part of a relief effort for those trying to escape ISIS. She also scheduled and coordinated the rotation of hundreds of volunteers to assist with charitable causes.

Alexa is the friendly voice of Jefferson Insurance Group who answers and directs calls to the office. She also greets and assists clients, and performs data entry and recordkeeping.
